Diapers are amazing things, but when they fail, they fail big time! We've gotten a little better at diaper installation but there still is a breach or two now and again...

"...we have a diaper breach!"

On Monday we had the breachiest of breachy diaper breaches. It was indead a catastrophic diaper failure. "We have a failure in the o-ring!" Amanda leaned into me at 5 AM (when the breach was discovered) and whispered "we have just experienced the greatest breach in the history of Thomaskind" Without getting too, too graphic, lets just say that the clean up consumed many an extra cloth, diaper and towel. Let's also just mention that Amanda's PJs, her pillowcase, the bedsheets, Thomas' swaddling blanket and well, lots of other stuff ended up in the laundry basket.

So here is to checking more often and crossing our fingers against another catastrophic incident.
