Thomas - Month 3

Thomas has grown so much this month. He is a big boy, and has a whole bunch of new skills. Plus, Thomas finally got to meet his Grandpa Peter and his Aunt Johanna and Uncle Jonathan and his cousin Hanna!

Thomas outgrew his newborn size clothing at the end of two months. At the end of Month 3, he is now wearing size 9-12 months. Amanda can't believe such a huge child came out of her, as she is just over 5 ft tall. At 12 weeks he weighed in at 15 lbs 2 oz, nearly doubling his birth weight.

Let's see... this month Thomas slept 7 hours straight, on two separate nights, about 2 weeks apart. The rest of the time he kept to his night-eating 3-4 hour schedule, but hey, we'll take it! His eyes continue to lighten up, and it looks more like Amanda's blue than mine. He began to bat at things above his head with deliberate purpose and has discovered his thumb (or at least, his whole fist) which is now always in his mouth. He is constantly smiling his big gummy smile and is a real talker. The big trick this month was being gently pulled first to a sitting position and then into a standing position! Thomas took his first trip away from home - we went skiing at Owl's Head and he was good as gold.

There is so much more to see and discover, he is learning every day!
